Skip for Hardcore Durrington

A hardcore skip can accept rubble, bricks, concrete, tiles, stone and similar heavy materials. These items can be mixed together, provided no soil, wood, plastics, metal or general household waste is included. Keeping the skip purely filled with hardcore ensures safe lifting and compliant disposal. If you’re unsure about a particular material, our team is happy to advise before delivery.

Hardcore waste is much heavier than standard waste, meaning it requires a skip that can handle significant weight safely. Using the correct skip prevents overloading, avoids contamination and ensures the waste can be processed properly at licensed sites. A dedicated hardcore skip keeps everything safe, efficient and compliant with local regulations.

Most customers hire a hardcore skip for one to two weeks, though shorter or longer periods can be arranged depending on your needs. We aim to work around your project timeline and can collect the skip early if required. Our service is designed to be flexible, convenient and supportive throughout your project.

You only need a permit if the skip must be placed on a public road rather than private land. If this applies to your property, we can assist with the permit process and explain what is required. Many customers avoid permits by placing the skip on a driveway or within a garden area. We always recommend the most suitable placement based on your access and project needs.

Medium and smaller skips are usually recommended for hardcore due to strict weight restrictions. The right size depends on how much rubble or concrete your project will generate. Once we understand the scale of the work, we can suggest the most appropriate skip size. Choosing correctly ensures safe loading and compliant disposal of your heavy waste.
