Soil skips are generally intended for soil and related inert materials only. Mixing household waste, green waste, or general rubbish is not recommended, as it may lead to additional charges. Keeping the load clean helps ensure proper disposal and recycling. If you need to dispose of mixed waste, we can discuss alternative skip options.

Standard hire periods are flexible and can be arranged to suit your project timeline. Most customers keep the skip for a set number of days, but extensions can often be arranged if required. We confirm the agreed hire duration during booking so you know exactly how long the skip will remain on site.

If the skip is placed on private property such as a driveway, a permit is not usually required. However, if it needs to be positioned on a public road, a permit may be necessary. We can advise you on local requirements and help arrange the appropriate permissions if needed.

Once collected, the soil is taken to an authorised facility for processing. Clean soil may be reused or recycled where possible, helping to reduce environmental impact.
